Here you have 3 different examples of our music imagery journeys (with English demo speak) that are applied in our music app, The Sound of Life, tailored for vulnerable pregnant women at the maternity ward at Hvidovre Hospital (Denmark):
* The Brook
* At the Beach

* Shake it off

Some comments regarding the three music imagery journeys:
– At the Beach was developed and composed for Ilan´s multi-site study the MICO project, aiming at reducing nausea and side effects of chemotherapy in children 7-24 years old (see www.micostudy.com).

– The Brook was composed and written (by Ilan) for the music app project/vulnerable women, and is intended for letting go of thoughts and worries.It is a more classical example of music imagery, however short. Hence, we call it (and 4 other pieces that are included in the app) Short Music Imagery Journeys.​​
 

– Likewise, Shake it off was also composed and written (by Catharina Messell, and co-composed by Ilan)  for the music app project/vulnerable women, and is intended for shaking off tensions, negative emotions, sensations etc. It is indeed bodily focused and and an example of our development of a concept of movement music imagery for our new music (imagery) app.
The recorded guiding (English) stems from the recording session and serves only as a cue speak to the musicians. In addition, the closing verbal part does not appear on this English DEMO version.


Please keep in mind that the speak is only a quick demo recording serving the purpose of letting you have the opportunity to hear the material and appraise, whether you find them suitable for your purpose.
In addition, we have only translated the demos into English quickly and roughly.
Hence, we will make a more thorough translation later.
